Holiday Movies...

What's your favorite? Mine, hands down, is White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Bob Hope. I love that movie!!!

Naughty or Nice?

Some people might have a problem with these results.... LOL

You Were Nice This Year

You Were 25% Naughty, 75% Nice

Okay, so you weren't *entirely* nice this year
But Santa doesn't expect a modern girl to be perfect
You were good enough - and you'll be rewarded for it

What does your handwriting say about you?

Another fun thingy for Sweet Shoppe...

What Your Handwriting Says About You

You are a fairly energetic person. You know how do pace yourself, and you deal well with stress.

You are somewhat outgoing, but you're not a natural extrovert. You think first before you act. You tend to be independent, rational, and logical.

You are balanced and grounded. You know how to get along well with others.

You need a bit of space in your life, but you're not a recluse. You expect people to give you a small amount of privacy, and you respect their privacy as well.

You are a free thinker. You are unique, open minded, and artistic. You don't care what other people think.

You are a poor communicator. No one really knows exactly what you're getting at.

Songbird Avenue - Toys For Tots

It's that time of the month again.. time for me to blog about this wonderful group of women. Last month I blogged on Scrap Happens, the blog that I share with my friend Meghan. Since I'm sort of trying to actually use this blog, I thought I'd blog from here this time.

Songbird Avenue is the brainchild of Meredith Fenwick and Jan Crowley. Every month, they have a new guest designer, and a new charity. All of the money from the sales of the kit, minus paypal fees, goes directly to the chosen charity for the month. They even post the reciepts for everyone to see how much was raised! Every kit also includes a template from the very talented Janet Phillips!

This month there is a gorgeous Winter/Christmas kit called Sugar Plums and the guest designers are the girls from The Lilypad!! The charity this month is Toys For Tots. There's another great combination from Songbird, and not only is the kit gorgeous, you also get to support a great charity.

Go take a look, and don't forget to pick up the kit for yourself. I am planning on using mine for Christmas cards this year. :)

What Halloween Costume Should You Be?

Okay.. some of the choices for answers here are a bit... interesting... so if you take it.. don't say I didn't warn you...

Last Sweet Shoppe post for today. :)

Your Halloween Costume Should Be

A Girl Scout

What Carnival Ride Are You?

Another one for Sweet Shoppe.. I'm playing catch up...

You Are a Ferris Wheel

Deep down, you are a fun, whimsical, and easygoing person.

You often enjoy life for what it is, and the littlest changes in course can be quite thrilling.

In relationships, people tend to feel what you feel. It can be liberating at first...

But after a while, the people closest to you end up feeling a little trapped.

Your life has perfectly normal cycles of ups and downs.

However, you can't help but sometimes feel that you're missing out on the most exciting aspects of life.

You only are happy when you're experiencing the highest of highs.

Your low points just make you feel depressed, restless, and bored.

At your best, you feel on top of the world with a great sense of perspective.

You believe that anything is possible, and that you are happily looking down on everyone else.

At your worst, you feel like your life is going in circles. You often feel like you're not going anywhere.

This is sometimes psychologically disorienting. And sometimes it brings on a sense of hopelessness.

Well, that's a depressing profile. LOL

Favorite Layout

For SSD's our blog to yours challenge...

My favorite layout. This was hard.

I wavered between two.. but this is still one of my favs.. I love the pops of color and the sweet photos...

My Bloggy Giveaway...

Shannon at Rocks In My Dryer is hosting a bloggy giveaway. Go enter and try to win some cool stuff!!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Okay, I finally thought of something!!

I do digital scrapbooking, and I will make you a custom 8x8 layout of your pictures.

What you will need to do is email me the full size pictures you want scrapped, and some explanation of what is going on in the pictures.. if you want journaling on the page, you'll need to write it.

I will give away one layout for every 50 comments. :)

If you would like to take a look at my digital gallery, to see what type of layouts I do, you can look at them here!

And maybe I should post some specifics, eh?

Winner(s) will be emailed a link to their full resolution file for printing as they wish. You can print at home on photo paper, since the layout is 8x8, it will fit on 8 1/2 x 11 paper.

Residents from anywhere are welcome, as nothing is being shipped, only emailed.

You will be able to choose the colors for your layout, and once we have established colors I will send you jpg samples of papers to choose from and we will talk about what your layout will look like.

Your layout will NOT be published in my gallery, unless you provide permission for me to do so, and even with permission, faces will be blurred out.

Winner(s) will be drawn Friday, November 2nd in the evening, and contacted sometime on Saturday November 3rd, which incidentally is National Digital Scrapbooking Day. :)

If anyone has any questions that I have not answered, please post a comment and let me know!!!

Naptime

I don't believe naptime should ever go away. Mainly because my DD has apparently decided to give up naps. Doesn't she know that's MOMMY time?? Sheesh. She's very stubborn and independent so I'm not all that positive I can talk her out of this new decision. Wish me luck!!

Doggy Days of Summer

I've been entering a ton of blog giveaways, and figured I'd better at least open a post so people could comment, in case they can't email me for whatever reason... of course this is all supposing I actually win something, which I won't since I am blessed with bad luck. LOL

Should anyone actually be reading this, you can go here to try your luck!!!
